Professor Saleem
Professor Saleem

Professor Vidia Saleem was born in Trinidad, West Indies. She earned her MSN degree from Grand Canyon University, Arizona and her BSN with distinction (Cum Laude) from the College of New Rochelle, N.Y. Her undergraduate studies include an ASN degree in 1998 from The Dorothea Hopfer School of Nursing (Mount Vernon, N.Y), now known as The Montefiore Hospital School of Nursing. Prior to becoming a Professional Registered Nurse, Vidia worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for eight (8) years at The Wartburg Home in Mount Vernon, N.Y.

Professor Saleem has been teaching the Obstetrics/Maternity review course for Feuer Nursing Review since 2010. Professor Saleem was employed at Saint John’s Riverside Hospital (Yonkers, N.Y) as a full-time R.N in Labor and Delivery for seventeen years. She now serves as a full time Assistant Professor of Nursing at Westchester Community College, Valhalla N.Y. Professor Saleem was recently honored at Westchester Community College with a Nursing Faculty Award of Excellence 2016. In addition, Vidia works as a part-time Adjunct Clinical Nursing Instructor (Medical/Surgical Nursing) for Columbia University School of Nursing, New York, N.Y.

Professor Saleem is a passionate presenter who believes that hard work, commitment and dedication are key qualities necessary to be successful in life. She is involved in preparation, review and presentation of curriculum and the objectives of the NCLEX exam.
